As a non-profit, volunteer-based 501(c)3 organization, M.A.P. relies on financial support from the community in order to continue its mission of providing free arts-based experiences for local children.

​Summer Camp

The Summer Camp Sponsorship provides children with the opportunity to participate in our summer day camp - three weeks of exploration in dance, music, visual arts, theatre, and culinary arts. Campers age 7-18 attend free of charge, with high school students serving as camp counselors.  From 9:00am to 3:30pm, campers rotate through different classes and workshops.  At the end of each day, students gather to rehearse a show..  Camp concludes with a full musical production.  Sponsorship funds cover necessary camp purchases such as camp supplies, daily snacks, production materials, and microphones.  They are also used to help offset fees associated with guest artist instructors.

Sponsorship includes 10 show tickets and a full-size color program ad for the season.

​Holiday Show

The Holiday Show Sponsorship provides support for an annual favorite, M.A.P.'s holiday production!
Every holiday season, M.A.P. holds auditions for its annual holiday show, a fully realized production open to the community.  Rehearsals begin in early fall and continue through the first week of December.  Past shows include The Christmas Swan and Everyone's Christmas Story.  Sponsorship funds help cover basic production costs such as the purchase of performance rights, royalties, scripts, program printing, and advertising.  They also help offset fees associated with musicians and guest artists.

Sponsorship includes 6 show tickets and a full-size black-and-white program ad for the season.

The Arts Education Sponsorship provides funding for arts-based educational opportunities, all brought free of charge to the children of Hancock County.    Throughout the year, M.A.P. offers classes, workshops, and special projects to interested students in grades 2 through 12.  Acting techniques, theatre history, technical theatre, and playwriting are taught in rotation.  When available, guest artists are invited to share their expertise and talents.  Sponsorship funds are used for the purchases of workshop supplies, play rights & royalties, books, and to help offset fees associated with guest artist instructors.

Arts Education

The Backstage Sponsorship covers technical needs.  Theatre production costs continue to rise nationwide.  Our average play set costs between $500-$1500 depending on the show.  Lumber, paint, screws, casters, hinges, and more construct the temporary environments that help our young actors tell their story.  Sponsorship funds help offset the cost of some of our biggest annual expenses: facility rental fees, canvas backdrops, drapes, lighting & sound equipment, set construction, and props.

The Spotlight Sponsorship helps provide costumes and props for productions, ensuring that our young actors go on stage feeling proud, capable, and looking good!  Costumes, which vary widely from show to show, continue to be a large expense as every show and every actor have different needs.  Careful storage, recycling, and repurposing help defray costs, but funding from this sponsorship will automatically costume at least two actors in one show.

M.A.P. Fan

The Fan Sponsorship covers a variety of needs and helps us stretch our sponsorship dollars!  While M.A.P.'s needs vary widely from year to year, our goal is to always provide our participants with the best possible experience.  We repurpose, reuse, and recycle whenever possible, which means a lot of storage.  A Fan Sponsor donation helps defray the monthly cost of rising commercial storage fees.
