PARENT & PARTICIPANT EXPECTATIONS

  • The following Expectations have been set for those involved in M.A.P.’s 2025 Season to ensure that all participants have a wonderful experience while learning the discipline and dedication needed to be a part of a production. Keeping these promises helps to ensure the safety of all.

  • M.A.P. has a solid history of serving our community. To participate in M.A.P. means you are a part of this organization. Please make sure you have completed the membership form.  Annual dues are $15.00. (If this cost is difficult for your family, please see one of the adults in charge.)

  • All participants will treat the facilities with respect and care. Garbage will be disposed of properly, and all items brought into the facility will be carried out after rehearsal. The participants and crew will tidy spaces before leaving.

  • M.A.P.’s goal is to provide this experience with no financial impact on the family. However, if you would like to purchase your child’s costume, or make it yourself, please consult with the director and the costumer prior to any purchase.

  • In case of an emergency or illness please notify one of the directors by phone or text as soon as possible.

  • NO CELL PHONE POLICY. We want all participants to be fully engaged in the experience. Cell phones will be gathered by the stage manager before performances and returned afterwards.

  • All participants are expected to be on their best behavior. No hitting, cursing, kicking, belittling or bullying will be tolerated. Respect personal space and avoid inappropriate behavior. Follow directions. Participants who cannot abide by these rules may be asked to leave the class.

  • The use of drugs or alcohol during this experience is strictly forbidden by a participant or volunteer. Anyone suspected of being under the influence of either will be immediately dismissed from the class. We do not compromise safety.

  • Parents may not stay in Rebecca Hall during classes. They may wait in the parlor across from the office.

  • Promote M.A.P. in the community!
